It is Christmas Eve. Barrington Bunny is all alone, without family or friends. As he tries to find his way home in deep snow, he is attracted to parties given by happy squirrel, beaver and mouse families. He asks if he may join them, but they do not invited him in. In his despair, he sits down and cries in the snow. A great Wolf appears and given him some loving advice which Barrington carries out -- with profoundest happy results.

Composer's comment: a gentle tale with a heartwarming message.
